PL – Całość jest zaaranżowana tak, aby na każdym z trzech poziomów zwiedzający wysłuchał jednej z trzech opowieści o Myślenicach. Na pierwszym piętrze znajdziemy m.in. rekonstrukcję fragmentu wieży zamkowej z lochem głodowym, dwa niepozorne kamienie, które są jedynymi zachowanymi śladami po myślenickim dworze, gabinet burmistrza, pokój Emila Kubali, szlachecki dworek, kliszczacką chatę i kuźnię. Tu znajdziemy także bogate zbiory etnograficzne. Na piętrze niżej znajdziemy się w okopie z okresu I wojny światowej, to tu przedstawione są sylwetki myślenickich legionistów. Także tu przybliżona jest historia myślenickich żydów, którzy w liczbie ok. 1300 osób zostali wywiezieni do obozu śmierci z 1942 roku. Najniższe piętro Muzeum zajmuje ekspozycja „Myśleniczan walka o demokrację”. Prowadzi ona zwiedzających m.in. przez celę przesłuchań w budynku Urzędu Bezpieczeństwa. Znajdziemy tu historię myślenickiej Solidarności i jej założycieli, a wśród eksponatów m.in. guziki z myślenickiej fabryki Galalit i gigantyczny długopis z wizerunkiem Jana Pawła II, również myślenickiego zakładu. Patronami tej ekspozycji są robotnicy, a kończy się ona na roku 1989.
ENG – The whole thing is arranged in such a way that, on each of the three levels, the visitor will hear one of the three stories about Myślenice. On the first floor you will find, among others reconstruction of a fragment of the castle tower with a hunger dungeon, two inconspicuous stones which are the only preserved traces of the Myślenice manor house, the mayor’s office, Emil Kubala’s room, a noble manor, a Kliszczak’s hut and a smithy. Here we can also find rich ethnographic collections. On the lower floor, we find ourselves in a trench from the First World War, here are the profiles of the legionnaires from Myślenice. The history of the Jews from Myślenice, about 1,300 people, was also depicted here. They were transported to the death camp in 1942. The lowest floor of the Museum is occupied by the exhibition „The inhabitants of Myślenice fighting for democracy”. It guides visitors, among others through the interrogation cell in the building of the Security Office. We can find here the history of the Solidarity movement from Myślenice and its founders. buttons from the Galalit factory in Myślenice and a giant pen with the image of John Paul II, also from the factory in Myślenice. The patrons of this exhibition are workers, and it ends in 1989.
